4 Months Old

Kayden is 4 mo old now! He is growing so fast at 19.5 lb there is only a 10lb difference between he and Mica. (yes folks Mica is starting to dress herself :)

Couch Elves

I remember when I used to lift up the couch cushions in hopes of finding some loose change. Now I think twice - do I really want to know whats in there. Well this is what I found while cleaning. So I'm thinking he couch elves must have played a game of dominoes then made a snack and being the calorie conscious elves they are, they decided to walk it off using the pedometer. Yes I know I'm weird, but give me a break I hang out with a two year old all day.

Mica 1 Balsa Wood Airplane 0

Ok, I knew it wouldn't last long but I had no idea that the demise of the fragile plane would come at the hands of a two year old like a scene from Godzilla. In a Matrix like move she grabbed it from the air. For a split second I saw a twinge of evil flash across her face and before I could say a word the poor plane was crushed and gone. Oh well, we had fun for a little while.

The Oregon Garden

It was a beautiful sunny day for a change and we took full advantage of it. We walked the Oregon Gardens and had so much fun looking at all the flowers and exploring the grounds. Mica had a good time playing and Kayden enjoyed a nap in the stroller.

Its Cute but . . .

Well at least he will never loose his thumb. I'm not that excited that Kayden has decided that he wants to be a thumb sucker and despises the "binkey" but at least he as found a way to sooth himself.

Happy Easter everyone! Mica had a really good time this year and she found lots of eggs. She still wouldn't take a picture with the Easter Bunny but really who can blame her. Kayden went along for the ride and I think he was a little disappointed he couldn't go get eggs :) Next year it will be so much fun!

Kayden is finally able to sit on his own for a little bit. And at almost 18 pounds its nice to give my arms a break.
