A Walk in the Park

The sun finally came out for a while and we took full advantage. It was still a little on the cool side but we will take a little sunshine over rain any day. Mica ran wild and free, finally out side of the confines of our living room. Our dog Bailey was also very excited to go on this outing. It is a little difficult to push Mica's buggy and have a crazy dog on a leash but we are fortunate to live only a block from the park. All in all it was a very fun day in the park!

B is for Book

Mica spent a good 45 min playing with her new books. And if you know any 14 moth old babies, you know this is amazing! She babbled in her own language at each one as if she was reading the words and told me all about them. She rolled around on the floor with them and had a great time. I had a flash forward in my own mind of watching her sprawled out on the living room floor flipping through a teeny-bopper magazine as I once did in my youth. And then before I let my self start to cry, because she is growing up so dang fast, I realized it was time to change her diaper. Nothing snaps you back to reality faster than a dirty diaper.

Snow!!!

Mica finally had the chance to play in some snow this year. She had a hard time walking through the snow. I think it was a combination of a snow suit that was too big and little legs that couldn't step up high enough. But she still thought it was fun.

Just so you know I'm still cute

. . . but I do still drool :)

Ok, I probably shouldn't share these because I want you all to think she is so precious, cute and innocent. And she is - most of the time. But these were too funny to pass up.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas is so much fun now! She was not to sure about the big man in the red suit, but at least she didn't cry :) Mica still does not really get into the whole present thing yet but she is having fun ripping up all the paper and does get excited to see a new toy. Next year she will know exactly what to do. But we are still having fun watching our little girl grow and play with family during the holidays. Merry Christmas everyone!
