New tooth

He is working on tooth number 8!

Plotting an Escape

Kayden and his friend Keila are planning an escape I just know it.

Little Girl's Best Friend!

Mica watches cartoons with her favorite pillow.

Daddy comes home!

As soon as the kids hear the garage door they go running/crawling to the door. They love their Daddy so much!

Kayden plays

He moves too fast!

Like Kayden's hair? Bailey did it for him - love those dog kisses!

Godzilla any one?

Just another crazy day in our house. I put up "tent city" in the living room and sit back and watch the show that they put on for me. Kayden crawled all over the place like a little hamster going round and round the tunnels. And as you can see chewing on everything!

Fall

Cheeeeeeease

Mica and I had a little fun when the leaves were turning colors. My favorite time of the year, it makes such beautiful photos. I was trying to get some photos with my mom's rocking chair, my mom rocked me in that chair and it reminds me of her. I wanted to capture some special moments of my own to share with Mica someday.

Halloween

I recycled Mica's first costume for Kayden to use. Good thing She wasn't a princess the first year :) Poor Kayden next year is not looking good haha :)
We will just call this "10 months"

Halloween? Yup that's what I said. I know its almost Christmas but life got in the way of blogging, again! So I will try to play catch-up and share some of our adventures with all of you.

Swamp Thing

Yesterday, I let Mica play in her tub of water. During the warmer days I let her get out cups and other objects safe for the water and we play filling things up and dumping them out. She loves to add soap and make a huge pile of bubbles. She calls it her pool, sad funny I know. Please no one tell her that her mommy gave her the ghetto version of an above ground pool :) So this is the "pool" today. It seems we have an alligator problem. One of the neighbor kids must have dropped the alligator mask out side in our front yard. When mica and I went to get the mail she hesitantly picked it up and said she found a dinosaur. We made our way back inside the house and I told her it was an alligator (hope it not a Crock and I gave her incorrect info.) She said "Oh Mommy he needs to be in the water!" she went to the back porch and plopped him in to the tub.

8 Months

Normally you would see Kayden next to his big sister for his monthly photo. But due to a case of the terrible two's she was unable to join him for this photo. Well I guess he should have the whole spot light sometimes.

All Caught Up!

I have not been so good at blogging lately. Now I hope I have caught up to current events. And just as soon as I can get them to sit still I will put up Kayden's 8mo photo! Chasing my kiddos is really a full time job!

State Fair Time

Finally! She didn't run from the larger than life furry character.
Even gives a hug!

We could have spent all day in the horse barn - if Steve's shoulders could have taken it.

Mica and her cousin Tyler
This year we were invited to the state fair by Steve's family. Mica and her cousin Ty ran all over the animal barns and any where we would let them. It was a good time to play and visit.

If You Can't Find Kayden . . .

Look under the couch. He is all over the place now. He is not crawling but he is an expert roller. Having purchased this set of living room furniture before we thought kids I did not think to get a set that prevents small children from getting lost and/or stuck under them. Lucky for us at the rate he is growing soon he wont fit under the couch :)

No Its Not Christmas

Kayden just ate lunch and still doesn't keep the bib on.

They must have called each other and planned their outfits. Its hard to believe that Kayden is three months younger than Keila.

Baby Smack Down

Dinner Time

Mmmmm yummy peas

Peas go here right?
Kayden refuses to keep his bib on so we had dinner topless (Kayden did that is). And in true baby fashion he got it all over. It was bath night so I just let him play.

The Boys

Kayden is learning how to play the latest computer games with Dad.

Sooooo HOT

This is not so posed to be Oregon weather. We bought and air conditioner. We stayed inside.

7 Months

How cute. Smile for the photo

Mom he's touching me.

Hey, That's my ear!

I'm outta here!
Things are starting to change around here. Its fun because they are starting to play together and make each other laugh - I love to hear Kayden squeal with delight at his sisters crazy antics but then . . . they become true siblings and the gloves come off. You take the good, you take the bad . . .

Mommy-cation

Can you believe this is the Oregon Coast!

Mica and Mommy

Just so you know he was there.

There is just something cute about little feet on the beach.

dun dun dun dun da da . . .

Group photo :)

This week a friend of mine rented a house on the beach and invited me and the kids to stay with her and her kiddos. There were 3 of us moms in all and 5 kids between us. Id like to say it was a relaxing vacation but I don't think that will be true for about 10 years :) We did have fun though in spite of chasing 5 crazy toddlers at the beach. Mica was so excited to play in the water even though she was only aloud to get her feet wet this time. It was cold and windy (typical Oregon coast) but she didn't seem to mind. The best part was on our way out of town when just Mica and I were able to get some fun pictures at an overlook. I cant wait until we can have just a girl trip and really have fun.

Happy 4th

We celebrated the 4th of July by watching the parade in the morning and then my Dad and Sister came over with her kiddos. We stayed up way too late and watched the fireworks with the kids. It made for a very long day but they loved it.

Cowgirl

We went to our local rodeo Friday night and Mica had so much fun! She watched the cowboys fall of the horses and she said "Mommy, he needs to hold on with both hands!" something I tell her a lot - use both hands :) I think the best part of the evening was when her daddy surprised her with a pink cowgirl hat. She loves it and wares it all over the house. I'm betting someday Ill look out in the backyard to find her sporting the cowgirl hat while doing yoga in her underwear. I will make sure to have the camera ready if this happens. Good times!
