My Future Is So Bright

I was cleaning the floors and Steve put Mica up on the table to get her out of my way for a second. She found my sunglasses and just had to be cute.

School is over and Mica is spending more time with her dad. Can you tell?

The Sun Will Come Out . . .

Yea the sun finally came out. Mica loves to be outside (even when the weather is bad) but when the sun comes out we all play. Today we went to one of the local parks that has a water feature that she likes to play in. And now that school is out Steve was able to join us which was lots of fun for Mica.

Sun River

Are we there yet? Can I have another cookie?

A few weeks ago we had a chance to go to Sun River for a few days. Steve had a conference to go to and we decided to tag along for some fun. We did get to spend some family time together but it was more like Snow River! It snowed the whole time we were there, never really sticking until the last day. Its a good thing Mica doesn't mind the snow. She had a blast exploring the house and was delighted to find stairs! I was not as excited about the stairs as I didn't think to pack the baby gate but we improvised with chairs to block her adventures. Next year I might remember the baby gate.

Milestones

I put my shoe on all by myself!

Time to catch up. Mica is growing and changing daily. These are just a few of the latest milestones I have been able to catch. She is a quick little lady! She put her pants on all by herself, ok she already had a pair on but who cares. And she stacked all those blocks by herself in fact there was one more but by the time I got the camera out she had taken it off. Who would have thought I would be all excited about blocks and pants? My baby is becoming a little person.

Golf Scholarship?

Today Steve came home earlier than usual (before 9pm :) and had a little time to introduce Mica to the game of golf. I think she is a natural. She screamed at the ball when it didn't go where she wanted, she threw the club and also picked up the ball and ran with it. Or she takes after her mother - sorry Steve looks like you will have to spend a lot of time in the next few years at the driving range with her. Its tough being a dad sometimes.
