More like big brother. Kayden is HUGE! He is already 17 pounds (in the 97 percentile for his age) Mica likes to hold her brother but soon it may need to be the other way around.

Like Father Like Daughter

So cute. Steve and Mica had a good time playing together this weekend and of coarse had a picture perfect moment that I just had to share.

6 Weeks old (and 2 years 2 mo. )

Time is flying by or at least it seems. Maybe its the lack of sleep that makes life seem like a blur. But we love our little ones very much and they are worth a few (ok a lot) of sleepless nights.

Mica's journey just got a little more interesting. Her baby brother, Kayden Zayn, entered the world on December 28th at 5:21 pm. He was 8lb 10 oz and 21 inches long. As you can see he looks just like Mica when she was born and therefor just like Steve. I think our little family is complete now even though Kayden's birth was much shorter, 4 and half hrs compared to Mica's 17, I am happy with two beautiful children. And I would like to sleep again sometime in the next 2 years :)

We are getting ready for so many events this December. Mica is very excited about Christmas and likes to see Santa - from a distance. Winter break started for Steve and Kate (our exchange student) a little early. A winter storm gave them 4 days off last week and now they get two more weeks to rest, play and bake cookies. Or help me with the new baby! He is not here yet and I have mixed feelings about that. I am so ready to have this baby . . . but not to drive to the hospital in an ice storm. Mica knows that brother is in mommy's tummy and when we go to the doctor she says "listen to brother?" as we listen to his heart beat each time. Hopefully my next post will include our new addition! If I'm not able to get to the computer at Christmas - Merry Christmas everyone!
